I lost all of my 2017 photos, except for a few folders that I still had on my laptop. I was glad to see that I still had my Yosemite Photos. My newest photo below is an HDR image from the parking lot next to the tunnel on Hiway 83. Wall to wall people! How many photos are taken of this view each day?

We got to the park in the early afternoon, and I wanted to take John to some of my favorite spots. When you get into the valley, you want to get photos of all the waterfalls. This is a good year for waterfalls since there was a heavy snowpack to provide plenty of water to the falls. Yosemite Falls is an easy photo to get when time is limited.

Maybe not as dramatic as waterfalls, are the Yosemite wildflowers.

As we were leaving the valley we saw a small crowd looking up at El Capitane. There were photographers, and a small telescope set up. A member of the climbing club told us that there were several groups of climbers on the face. I could not see them without looking through the telescope. But I tried to get a photo of the climbers. Look closely!

We wanted to get up to Glacier Point before dark. We did! John gave us a gift of his flute songs.

Goodbye Yosemite. (Kini is wearing her birthday crown, kindly given to her when we visited Jim and Margot in their Netarts beach house.)
