We came to Venice and the hordes of tourists, vendors and commercialism, shouting at me "Let's sell Venice!" We were a bit unfunned by this, but we made it to a great city that is mired... Still, underneath the carnival mask of vendors, trinket shops, commerical docks that block the views of the canals and harbors and long lines to ticket sellers, there were glimmers of old world charm.
And delights to the eyes and senses.
Still Venezia was like a begger to me at fat American tourist.
