After our quick trip to Las Vegas we were back on our photo tour. Yay! We were behind schedule, but we decided to drive through Zion National Park on our way to Bryce Canyon. Really too much to do in a single day. As we were about to come to Zion National Park we saw this stone house.

As if losing a camera lens is not bad enough, on this day my computer hard drive crashed and I lost all of my 2017 photos! I was thankful that Kini and John had not lost their photos. (I did have a few images backed up.)
The drive through Zion National Park was spectacular.

We spent so long in Zion National Park that we did not get to Bryce Canyon until the late afternoon. With some excitement we hurried from the parking area to the ridgeline. Breathtaking!

After we had taken lots of photos, we decided to rest until the golden hour. John pulled out his flute and began to play. In the quiet of the early evening the flute notes matched the ambiance of the place. People began to gather and listened quietly to the music. When at last John finished playing and the last notes vanished, there was a moment of silence and then the group started to clap. As people began to drift away some stopped to personally thank John for his songs. A proud moment for Dad too.
