You begin by entering a long hall of statues and portraits of important Florentine folks.
Lots of amazing works by artists I never heard of.
But I wanted to see the work of Michelangelo so I hurried past galleries of masterpieces that I would check out later. (The museum was only opened for an hour after we got there.) Dodging the crowds like the running of the bulls, I found Botticelli! Here they had one of my all time favorites.
We hurried through dreary galleries of dark paintings (for the most part) to get to Leonardo da Vinci's gallery. Right before closing we found it. I was tired and underwhelmed and never even took a single photo in his gallery. Kini aand I were both uffizied by this time.
