Back in Hawai'i. I wanted to find a good snorkeling spot to practice my underwater photography. Now that the summer is here, the monster waves on the North shore are gone and the reefs are open for snorkeling. That means clear water! Today, we drove up to the North shore to see what we might find. What we found is Shark's Cove!

As Kini said, "I have a new favorite spot!" For me, I think I'll get out my scuba gear.

Since Shark's Cove is part of a marine sanctuary, the marine life is not afraid to get near people swimming. Finally, I should have the opportunity to improve my underwater photography. I find working underwater difficult for many reasons. One of the most obvious is that I cannot see close up especially when I am underwater!
