This is the homeless community that is my Ohana. While walking my dog Sally along the lagoon this camp has grown from Cat chow man to several families. Allthough I thought of the camp as a homeless community, in Polynesia it seems more like the roots of a settlement. The structure is matriarchal. The children go to school play, ride bicylces. Some of the men have jobs. Joseph, the man in this image, is getting his gear ready to go fishing.
