I really wanted to take John to visit Antelope Canyon. It is a classic location for getting spectacular images of a slot canyon. The problem was I had no reservation. Antelope Canyon is on Navajo Indian land so you need to get a Navajo guide to take you into the canyon. I was fortunate to get two tickets to visit the canyon. Kini decided not to go with us. We got up before sunrise excited for what we hoped to see.

It was fantastic to spend Father's Day taking John into the canyon. Too bad our guide was so rude. No tripods keep moving. Still I would not hesitate recommending going to the canyon.

By noon we were back on the road to Monument Valley. I was too tired to take the tours into the valley, so we just snapped a few photos as we drove by.

We were trying to get to Moab before dark, but there was one last photo I wanted to make.
